Adina Accepts Prestigious Departmental Chair Position; Begins Studies toward Doctorate

Adina is very excited to have begun her studies toward a Doctorate in Learning and Human Development through the Educational Studies Department at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Her interest lies in how the performing arts help us develop into stronger, more resilient individuals. Her dissertation focuses on how the study of music improves overall academic performance. By implementing the performing arts in the formal educational system, “the sky is the limit” in terms of individual growth and development.
Adina has been a longtime faculty member at the School of Music - ONO Academic College in Kiryat Ono, Israel. Adina is very pleased to announce that she has been appointed Chair of Vocal Performance. Working under the leadership of the new Dean, Yaron Gottfried, Adina is building exciting programs and ensembles.
In this new role, Adina will continue to direct and choreograph the Musicals Ensemble, who will perform a musical revue of the contributions of the legendary Elton John. She will also continue to teach song performance. This semester, Adina is producing a Song Presentation concert featuring musical selections from the vast history of Disney films. She will be teaching courses in movement for the stage, as well as advanced song presentation. Adina is pleased to have a wonderful staff of private vocal instructors, as well as courses in acting and lyric writing.
